¶ Serial Number Tracking
Lookup and track individual products via serial numbers across all stores.
¶ 1. Tracking Dashboard
The Serial Number Tracking interface allows managers to monitor the lifecycle of high-value or trackable assets from acquisition to sale.

¶ 1.1 Inventory Search & Filtering
Locating specific items is made efficient through advanced filtering options:
- Search SN/SKU: Directly input the serial number or product SKU for an exact match.
- Filter by Product: Narrow down results to a specific product model (e.g., Gaming Keyboard).
- Filter by Store: View stock levels at a specific retail branch.
- Status Filter: Toggle between Available, Sold, or Reserved statuses.
¶ 2. Asset Lifecycle Details
The tracking table provides a real-time status of every serialized unit in your inventory.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Serial Number | The unique identifier for the specific unit. |
| Current Store | The branch where the unit is currently physically located. |
| Status | Available Sold |
| History | Click the history icon to view every movement and transaction associated with this unit. |
Pro Tip: Serial numbers are automatically linked to customer sales. When an item is sold through the POS, the status in this list will update to Sold automatically, and the transaction details will be added to its history.
