¶ Parts Usage Report
Monitor spare part consumption across repairs and sales to optimize your procurement planning.
¶ 1. Resource Tracking Configuration
The Parts Usage Report identifies which components are being consumed fastest. This is essential for maintaining lean inventory levels while ensuring you never run out of critical repair parts.

¶ 1.1 Metadata & Accountablity
Link consumption to specific staff members or locations for loss prevention and performance auditing:
- Technician: Filter by the individual technician who consumed the parts. Useful for identifying waste or high service volume.
- Location: Track which branches are utilizing specific high-value components.
- Consumption Context: Use the "Classification" filter to see if parts were used in Repairs, direct Sales, or internal testing.
¶ 2. Sequencing & Analytics
Organize the data to identify temporal patterns in part failure or demand:

| Timeline | Select the "From" and "To" dates to analyze specific periods (e.g., quarterly usage). |
| Sort By Usage Date | Chronologically list when parts were deducted from stock. |
| Usage Analytics Card | The sidebar summary calculates the total cost and quantity consumed based on the active filters. |
Procurement Tip: Run this report monthly to identify "Specific Parts" that are becoming high-volume, indicating they should be moved to permanent "Product List" stock.
